Button 32 ( MFD l scroll click) is recognised directly by CloD and Xpadder this way, but buttons 33 + are not. In fact, I only use button 32 but it's nice to know they're there if needed. Obviously this won't be a solution for everyone and may not even be worth it but it does work. Hidmacros doesn't really work properly with CloD but I've been using it with two USB numeric keypads in my setup for secondary engine and cockpit controls and it works well for me(after a few work-arounds, but that's another story). Use to detect the button press and assign a keyboard action to that. Other than the above cavaet, it's really very simple. The X52 mouse/mini-stick is non-functional with this setup but all the other buttons/axis work.
SAITEK X52 PRO CLUTCH MODE SOFTWARE
Second problem is the deal breaker for most.įor me, since I used with my previous joystick (Thrustmaster HOTAS X) I was familiar with how it worked and it's basic setup and I couldn't get the Saitek software to do certain things (one button zoom, anyone?), it's a compromise that I can live with. It may(well, IS, but not by me ) ) be possible to use the MFD SDK to modify the default responses. Since the MFD and joystick lighting effects and the stopwatch function are all hard-wired into the X52 pro there will be some interaction when assigned to other actions, ie. There is a way to assign these 8 MFD buttons to Clod (listed below),īut there are two problems, one minor, the other "somewhat" major. It would be nice to have something working with them too.
Have you found a way to map axes and keys to the two rolls and two buttons below the multifunction display?
